WHAT IS THE

'AMÉRICA VIVA GALA SHOW & GIVING DAY'

1. It is a wonderful night of entertainment and solidarity, filled with excitement and purpose. A celebration of our values as diverse and multicultural community. A first-class production from Miami to the Americas inspiring us all.

2. The América Viva Gala Show & Giving Day is an event presented annually at the Arsht Center in Miami, comprising 4 parts:

- Red Carpet

- Inca Garcilaso Medal bestowment

- Show América Viva

- VIP Cocktail

In addition to those, the 'Giving Day' is the online fundraising component of the event that happens that day and during the previous weeks through 'early giving'.

3. As the central part of the event, the show América Viva conveys on stage a timely message of unity in diversity. América, the continent from Alaska to Patagonia, home to more than 500 million Hispanics, is alive in its ‘mestizaje’, in its cultural diversity, in its inclusive spirit. It's all about the great value of the cultural blend that emerged from the confluence of Amerindians, Europeans, and Africans centuries ago in this new land, connecting us all and the generations to come.

4. In addition to fulfilling its cultural mission through building and delivering a message of unity in diversity through

different channels, the event América Viva Gala Show & Giving Day also serves as a platform for diverse nonprofit organizations to promote such message and leverage the event to raise funds online for their educational programs in different countries of the Americas.

5. Since 2019, more than $1 million has been raised for the compound mission of building the message of cultural diversity, tolerance, and solidarity through over 300 artists, children, emerging talent and top headliners on stage, and supporting educational programs in the Americas benefiting more than 30,000 children.

6. The event is co-produced by New Land Theatricals, HOLA! USA/Americas, and Loud And Live. New Land Theatricals is the 501c3 nonprofit organization that develops and manages the show América Viva, along with related training and educational activities throughout the year, needed to put on the show.
